Standing on the edge looking back

Things are progressing at work, moving out of just doing drafting work and onto some designing with Louisa who is our pavement specialist. Need to show her Im eager and guess we'll see how that will go. Working really hard until the other night I had temporary vision distortion after staring at the small things on my screen for about 12 hrs straight.

Got my general skilled migration visa approved. Yay. Got it about a week ago but just found out yesterday. I guess if i checked my email daily like I used to the past 10 years before I started working I known about it soon enough to go back for CNY. Hah.

Ive reached a point where Im taking work very seriously and weighing my social side a bit less. Its good to have a balance and now that Im into work I can really see how hard it is.

Turning 24...I i have one white hair on each side of my face which shine like a silver B29 in the night sky in WWII. Another thing is the teenage rebel is kinda relinquished - just hearing some paramore songs reminded me of what I use to think and feel about a year and a bit ago. Progression?

I saw that the apartment downstairs with the candles is rally really clean inside, wish we didnt have so much crap in the house. Will try to do something about this this weekend.

Fucos

Used to raid hardcore in wow and one of our warriors used to spell "FUCOS" across the screen just as we were about to pull a boss. Really had a good laugh. If you still haven't got it yet, its focus spelled wrongly and is kinda oxymoron-ish.

Basically this post is to remind myself to get fucosed for the year, set up some goals and actually do them. Been pretty lax and taking things a day at a time. One thing at a time. I need an extra day to recoup after going out the whole weekend and not resting after a tiresome week before. Step 1, reach home, shower and go to sleep. Wake up at 5am and eat something and do some exercise. Kgo!

Looming

I realise as Im typing that the person I am is different to the person I was the last time I put in an entry here. I feel older in mind and body, a little mature, but also the other things that come with it.

1. I called my sister the other day I was on the train to tell her that I could not buckle up my tailored pants anymore. She laughed.I made them about a year and a half ago. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. The pants certainly did not shrink. I tried on a belt that Esther gave me, and I could actually use it (it was 2 inches too loose the last time). To tell you the truth, its the most comfortable fit atm. My blue levis are too tight. Guess its really happening. Derek has put on weight. He is on the verge to getting fat. This struck me.

2. I watched High School Musical 3 with Nada, Nanda and their aunt. This is the best one. Its a real high school dream.

3. I love red on my hair. Too bad it stains the bathetub and I get in trouble.

4. Im going to Sydney for Christmas! First time not in KK ever. Will definitely be different.

5. Office is gonna be closed for almost 2 weeks. Been just over 4 months worth of straight work, definitely need a god break to think and recooperate.

6. Wow (game) is sometimes a nasty addiction.

7. Need to buy a new book for reading on the train. Just finished Norweigian Wood by Haruki Murakami, must say it was a great read and did not know I would enjoy it as much as I did.

8. Need to think of some resolutions for this year, have some ideas. Maybe next post.

9. I want to draw more.

10. Im still kind of coughing, 2 weeks now? Hmm...

11. Nanda gonna cut my hair tonite. Cant wait to see her ;D
