Somethings Missing

So Im content with work. Im happy I get along with most people, the asian asians keep to themselves. I have to break them.

Im pretty comfortable in Toowong although Im kinda strapped for time nowadays. Need to plan weekends in advance to have exciting things. Who knows, even step up to the challenge?

WTB car. Running the car is another problem. Not knowing which road goes where does not help either. Estimated cost 15-20k car +3-4k local license, rego, insurance. Argh.

Work friends are awesome, I fit in you can say. Pressure is remembering some new 20 names by end of week 1. Fulfilling. How fast can you say "howsitgoin-good-and-you?" as you pass by.

As I feared, the novelty of actually being a permanent Brisbane local compared to coming over for holiday is vastly contrasting. The mortality element of it is lacking. I hate settling into routine. Change.

Went out with Sherlene for lunch. Enjoyed that tremendously, however I felt distracted by all the things I need to remember. Been a bit edgy since I lost my camera. Pissed. Very. Solution: Think. Calm. Focus. Profit.

Will have the house to mysekf for the next 2-3 days. FY heading to Sunshine Coast for an interview. Hope it goes well, then again if she moves, Ill be alone here. Hmmm...more change afoot?

Riverfire was more than expected. F-111 dropping a whole lot of combustibles and making lots of noise is great entertainment. Fireworks to boot. Lots of good looking people to see too. Ollie is a great chat, plusses for ability to squat like an Asian. Bec seems lost over her cat which died. I did not talk to her much either. Leave it to Lene and Selina to cheer her up. Poor cat. Poor Bec.

Met Michael's Emily on the street. Maybe I should not have said what I said as a introduction. Not wise to hint that you know too much to people you just meet. She was very shy. But I think I had a good comeback. At least I hope so.

Money is what drives me to wake up in the morning for work. But when I get there, I really enjoy it. It must be my body not liking the lack of its 10 hour siestas. Damn I miss KK fiestas.

Threes a crowd. We could have held hands for longer. Heh. I jest. Maybe. Im not sure sometimes. But Im smarter than that Id like to think.

Missed Sydney one night a few nights ago. Called Esther to chat...

Why MP3 player ?! Why did you die ?! You were everything to me....music, data storage...pure ecstacy.

Health checkup is back. But cant open it, must be delivered straight to immigration. It was the first time that when they took blood I did not feel faint/throw up/nausious/pansy-out/etc. I get queezy when I see my own blood. Its a mental thing. I hate it. Im not scared, but my brain goes into auto panic when the eyes dart the wrong way. Sigh.Mind over matter.

It was good to talk to Sheen although brief about each other. A brief window.I still feel a little scared, like saying the wrong thing might offend. I know she wont take it to heart, but it still proves difficult. I dont know. Me?

Im doing it again. Talking to fast cause Im scared to lose peoples attention. Bad.

Im loving the new perfume. Scenterific! MMmmmm...

Am I persuing or waiting for the right one to come along? Well, I know I should be persuing, but I also feel very picky. Beggers cant be choosers dammit. Right JX?

I love the weather. Warm. All I got to say is "Turn up the heat baby!" Tops of 25 degrees C!

Last Days in Sydney

Was very hectic cleaning out my room. Took about 3 sessions and over 20 hours. What work sorting it all out. But in the end what was important was my friends and I had to see them before I went of.

Spent a day out with Emily, walking around town window shopping and catching a movie. Talked about old times, approached some dangerous Q&A, but it was great that we still click and are great together.

After that we went back to her place and played doctor. :D




Later on that night, went out to have harry's hotdogs for one more time with Esther and Matt. yummeh. u have not been to Sydney until you have had a chillie dog.



The next nite went to eat dinner with foundation friends at Cafe Kasturi for some good old fashion Msian food.

Had a drink with Arif too, but I lost my camera that night.... *sad panda*

Much much later, went to Sling with Bryant and JX and had way too much to drink and went to Jadyn's house for absinthe and twister. The thrills of SYdney. reach home at 6:30am.

Cleaning out my room

This is hard work. Spent 10 hours today. Done about 30-40%. This is hard.


Also, something decided to bite my special finger and it almost doubled in size.



Put some of the mow sun yao and it went down in 5 minutes. zomgamazing!

Brisbane is home

I rocked up for the interview bright and early on Tuesday. Was there at 10 for my 10:30 interview. Met Brad who I shared a cubicle with the last time I was doing my work experience here. He was on cigarette break. He buzzed me up.

Waited til about 10:45 wil BT (Bruce Tanner) could see me. It was short and to the point. We need people, when can you start. 10 minutes later, I had it. Brisbane was my new hearth.

The nightmare of accumulating documents to lodge my PR, read the work code, move my stuff from Sydney, and my visa expiring by the end of the month is mind wracking. All this and more I cant think of to do by 2.5 weeks.

Gotta get organized, well slightly. Looking forwards to Ekka on Saturday, hopefully can cheer Sherlene up a little. Might be a little awkward depending whois coming, but should be ok, im confident.
