anyway, Claymore this new anime is shaping up to be pretty cool. I had my doubts but here I am on episode 9 in one sitting. I didnt like how they killed on of my favourite characters in episode 8 though, but I think she will get avenged.

Update: Okie, I finished 26 episodoes already. It was good. Under 24 hours. Haha. I managed to watch Avatar: the last airbender 1& 2 after that too! Yay. Now gonna wait for greys 401, dexter 203, californication 105, omg, so many!...

Great lyrics

A great musician once said, its not always about the lyrics that make great music, its about the tune. See Britney Spears early work, you cant remember much, but say the title of the song and you can get the tune and maybe sing the chorus from memory. It was the frontman of Travis or Coldplay who said that.

Just wanna share some lyrics that mean something to me, athough simple, it has a great tune which I wish I could show in words.

Work is getting increasingly hard to do especially when you are sick. I think I contracted the flu when I had steamboat at Lynn's house the other day.

Scared to be happy

I dreamt.

It was a sweet dream. It was a great day, sunny on the beach, and I'm riding (a bike) along a path beside the beach. Then suddenly this girl comes comes flying at me with open arms. I see her and pluck her out of thin air, and we embrace. It seemed the perfect moment, the culmination of so much time longing, thinking about this moment. It seemed too unreal, beautiful, but my mind realized this and refused to indulge in the moment. I felt held back as though is was not alright to be happy.

Things became a bit weird from then on, the girls father emerged and started to lecture us about how it was wrong, some other persons emerged and appeared to gawk. Out of frustration I scremed at the girl's father (which is very unlike me I must add) :

"SHUT UP ! This is my dream!"

Thats when I woke up and thought about it somemore. Why was I afraid in the dream? Why are things we know we want so hard to give up on things we already have, to have new things we know we want? Why are we afraid to be happy? On the other hand, we dont get rid of things that make us smile.

I know I didnt make much sense on that explaining my thoughts, it was a dream afterall and it was just a mix of emotions that blended together to make this weird-emo rant. Opinions?

ANYWAY,

On the other hand, I took Esther (or rather she took me) to see Ratatouille and it was as awesome show! 5 of 5! Id say its even better than Incredibles. Pixar has really outdone themselves on this one.

Studio Ghibli: Raccoon (Tanuki) Wars

I saw Pom Poko or Raccoon Wars today. It was the usual weirdness with the dark bits like grave of the fireflies. Its kinda hard to watch, and took me 3 sittings to finish this 2 hours show. But overall if your looking for something deep this is the show for you. Kinda reminds me of when I was a kid you see all those recycling adds but just dont know how to deal with it. This brings out the anarchy side of that somewhat.

How does the internet work?

These Japanese blokes made this cool interactive site where you can see how the internet is linked. Man I was amazed how face book is bigger than myspace and friendster already! Some of thess sites I have never even heard off like Sina and Baidu? Whats that? I know I frequent Google, You tube (Google again!), ...I'm pretty sure blogger is owned by google too....google owns the internet!

This bugger had its fill on some sweets that was left out and didn't bother to ask. So he got a smack with the local newspaper, and after feigning death under the window sill, I wasn't about to play fair! About 300ml worth of shoe cleaner up his breathing utilities later, he ain't moving anymore. Should have seen him jump around and suddenly croak. Then again, maybe I should not have left food lying around in my room. Nah....
